#StopTheHacking!

I know I haven't posted in over 2 months. My apologies for that. I'm busy making customs, doing homework and making videos. This doesn't mean I've quit blogging. I will just post on Fridays and Saturdays, School holidays and any other days I find time to blog.

Usually all bloggers have posted all their long, important, exclusive New Years posts by now. But today I'm posting about why hacking is ruining CP, and I hope you have realised how important this post is.

Near Christmas, many penguins generously post codes as gifts. It is great to see penguins try to help others who maybe can't afford membership or their membership has run out. Some penguins are even posting thousands of codes for giveaways. These are giveaways you shouldn't take part in. Many of the codes have been obtained from a forum where the codes have been hacked using an algorithm. No penguin would seriously buy 1000 codes in stores, firstly that would cost over 5000 pounds. Even if someone had that kind of money, you probably wouldn't spend it on buying thousands of memberships.

Some of the hacked memberships contain viruses. This means that when you use them, they can put a virus in your computer, which is very bad. Also, CP can check where your membership came from. If they find out that you hacked your membership you can get banned. CP can also find out who is providing these memberships and ban them, too. If you are banned from hacking membership and feel guilty send an email to CP or phone them saying you are guilty and won't do it again. We all make mistakes, CP is nice and will probably give you another chance.

Not all of the codes are viruses. Some penguins got codes by abusing a promotion by CP. In the promotion you could get 1 7 day membership per account. Penguins hacked it so they could get multiple codes.

If you want membership, don't hack. Ask your parents if you can have membership. Chances are they will say yes as CP has lots of educational and creative aspects. If they say no, ask for one for your birthday, say you will do extra chores or save up to buy one yourself.

Another thing I want to mention is that 1000 memberships cost 5000 pounds which is part of someone's salary. CP team members work extremely hard and they deserve this money.

Another point mentioned in Dj Stores blog post is that because of hacking, CP are having to upgrade security instead of designing new and exciting parties. Many people want new parties, but CP needs time to invent them instead of upgrading their security.

If you have read this far, you probably want to stop hacking, too. To help with that, comment, share or simply just Google + this post.

Thanks for your help with #StopTheHacking,
-Geepeach
